Traveling for business and for pleasure regularly for more than 15 years now, I would have classified myself as a "clumsy" traveler - I was very unorganized and likely to forget important (if not critical!) items on my trips. These businesses employed 975,052 people, an increase of 5.9 percent; their payrolls totaled $27.7 billion, an increase of 15.9 percent (not adjusted for inflation).
However the most direct reason is the lack of business ownership in the Black community. Good Work Network has provided educational programs, technical assistance, operational support, capital access assistance, and market access services to more than 4,500 minority and women-owned businesses in the New Orleans area.
