(Loose Sand Vacuum Assisted countergravity Casting)
LSVAC(Loose Sand Vacuum Assisted counter-gravity Casting) process is a newly developed and advanced casting process, and also has exceptional thin wall(2-3mm) capability with high metallurgical quality characteristics. LSVAC process uses special thin sand molds and, with vacuum system, makes the molten metal to flow up into the mold cavities resulting in lower production cost but significantly improved qualities than conventional gravity casting processes.
Therefore this process will significantly contribute to the growth of near-net shape steel/stainless steel castings not only for automotive and allied industries but for the whole industry.

The fundamentals of LSVAC Process

The major characteristics of LSVAC process is to make the molten metal flow up into the mold cavities by counter-gravity vacuum casting.
